As part of our Famous Knitter Series, Alasdair Post-Quinn taught this weekend at The Knitting Boutique. Alasdair’s also signed copies of his book “Extreme Double Knitting.” Alasdair taught both his Intro to Double Knitting and his 2-Color Double Knitting class. We had great fun! Yarn store owners attended the “Smart Business Conference” in Baltimore for the last couple of days sponsored by Yarn Market News. As part of the conference, almost 30 visited The Knitting Boutique, as part of the owner’s Yarn Crawl. The Boutique received lots of wonderful compliments and well wishes from the owners, who loved our store!

Join Us for Famous Knitter Shirley Paden – March 16 and 17 Weekend

Famous Knitter Shirley Paden will be visiting The Knitting Boutique on Saturday and Sunday, March 16 and 17 and teaching a series of classes. We’ll begin Saturday morning with an Intro to Lace class and a Stranded Colorwork class in the afternoon. On Sunday, we’ll have a full day of learning Cable and Twisted Stitches. We’ll also have our Famous Knitters Lunch and we’ll talk about our upcoming classes. See you at the Boutique!
